On Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve/Day the activities will be closed
but please enjoy a drive through the light display.
Drive through 1 1/2 miles of breathtaking displays of over one million lights which focuses on the birth of Christ, the one true light of the world. Through sparkling lights, electro-art sculptures and creative displays, the Shrine celebrates the birth of our Savior.
Laser Light Show: The Birth of Jesus
Admission to the show: $3.00 per person (Ages 4 & under free with paying adult)
Experience the story of the birth of Jesus through this amazing spectacle of light and sound. This unique laser show, written and produced specifically for the Way of Lights, will thrill visitors of all ages.
Camel Rides And Petting Zoo
Make a special memory and take a camel ride
(Adults $5, Children $4), and take some time out to pet and feed the animals in our free petting zoo!
Souvenir Photos
Individuals, couples, or groups can take home a photo memory of their Way of Lights experience. Visitors of all ages can choose a traditional Christmas background or don angel attire and have a picture taken amidst a shimmery cloud background for a minimal cost.
Community Choir Stage
Nightly, area choirs and musical ensembles take the stage to provide beautiful sounds of the season.
Christmas Tree Room
Decorators and designers from the St. Louis/Metro East display their best creations showcasing Christmas Through the Years.
Interactive Children’s Village
Children of all ages will delight in learning about the most special Christmas gift, Jesus, in this sparkling Lil’ Angels’ Classroom filled with a variety of free, hands-on activities.
Wreath Display & Auction
A variety of wreaths created by area florists and designers will be on display throughout the Visitors Center. Silent Auction bids will be taken throughout the season with proceeds assisting in the work of the Missionary Oblates.
