The Oblate Missionary Society, Inc. a division of Oblate Service Corporation, is seeking applicants for MARKETING and FUNDRAISING SUPERVISOR. The Oblate Missionary Society, Inc. is a nonprofit mission development and fundraising office, located in Belleville, Illinois and San Antonio, TX.

POSITION: Marketing and Fundraising Supervisor

POSITION STATUS: Full-time, Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Assists the Fundraising Director to develop new concepts and implement current plans for direct mail fundraising, electronic fundraising, social media, merchandising development, advertising, and telemarketing.
  • Assist with implementation of new directives from the Oblate Executive Director and Leadership Team.
  • Under the direction of the Fundraising Director, make decisions for Marketing and Merchandising strategies based on detailed analysis.
  • Oversees the coordination of existing and new strategies from concept development through premium selection, writing, creative, donor selection, production, mail processing, and warehouse fulfillment.
  • Maximize efficiency in the Fundraising Department to improve net revenue.

WORK HOURS: Office hours-Monday-Friday

EDUCATION/SKILLS:

  • A degree in Communications and/or Marketing or similar work experience is preferred.
  • Experience working for a Non-profit, Ad Agency or Marketing firm, required.
  • A minimum of 5 years work experience, required.
  • Project Management experience, preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and writing communication skills, required.
  • Some evenings, weekends and occasional travel throughout the United States will be needed.
