Mark 7:6-7 (NABRE) Jesus responded, “Well did Isaiah prophesy about you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me; in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines human precepts.’”
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I come to You, seeking purity of heart and mind. Help me to honor You not just with my words, but with my actions and intentions. Guide me to follow Your commandments sincerely, avoiding the traps of empty traditions. Fill me with Your truth and love, so I may live a life pleasing to You. Amen.
