Matthew 16:16-17 (NABRE) Simon Peter said in reply, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus said to him in reply, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah. For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my heavenly Father.”
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I confess that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God. Strengthen my faith to stand firm on this rock of truth. Help me to trust in Your power to build Your church and to prevail against all challenges. Guide me to live out Your will with courage and conviction every day. Amen.
