Prayer:
Caring Lord, You said that my heart will feel sorrow in this life. And You promised that my grief would turn to joy, and I cling to that hope in my heart. As Blessed Joseph Gerard, OMI lived his full missionary life in Lesotho with little conversions to the faith, he persevered for the sake of the mission of Christ and is revered among the natives today as the father of faith because of his compassion and care for the sick. May I always have Your strength and care in sorrowful times. Amen
