Gospel Reading of the Day: John 19:25-34
Prayer: Loving Jesus, as I stand at the foot of Your cross beside Your mother Mary, I feel the depth of Your love and her sorrow. Even in Your suffering, You gave her to me as my mother, now her child. From Your pierced side flowed mercy and love—the beginnings of Your covenant and Church. Let me never forget the cost of this love, and may I live in the shelter of Your merciful heart. Amen
