“Arctic Wings and A Shrine”
“Arctic Wings and a Shrine,” is a multi-room exhibit focusing on the ministries of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate, especially in the Arctic regions of Canada. The devotion to Our Lady of the Snows was brought to Belleville in the late 1930s by former Arctic missionary, Fr. Paul Schulte, O.M.I.

2-Part Scripture Series with Mark Etling
The earliest Christians were known more for what they did – the work of justice and charity – than what they believed. But as Christianity allied itself more and more to the Roman Empire, its focus shifted away from the work of justice and more toward only the work of charity. By the fifth century CE Christians were known more for what they believed than what they did. In this two-part series we will discuss what Christianity gained – and what it lost – as it became increasingly Romanized.
Spiritual Programs
The National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows welcomes all people to experience the richness of the Catholic faith through presentations, courses and events. Programs are designed to enhance your spiritual growth and to connect you with the God of peace during the difficult times of life. While the Shrine is Catholic, our programs are designed to enrich the faith life of all who want to look at their lives through a God-centered lens.
