The dramatic story of Christ’s Passion and Death from the Gospel of John is read every year at the Good Friday liturgy.  Although the narrative contains many of the same details as the Synoptic Gospels.  John’s version includes several unique elements and themes:  the Arrest, Jesus Before Pilate, Mary and the Beloved Disciple at the Cross, even the day of Crucifixion.  This presentation is designed to help the hearer reflect more deeply on the meaning of the Passion and Death of Christ.

Journey of Decision, a dramatic presentation of the Stations of the Cross, will take place at the Shrine on Good Friday at 1 p.m. (Admission free.)

We hope you can join us for both events.
