We’d like to invite you to our annual When Mental Illness Hits Home Conference coming up on August 28, 2026, from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm at the Visitors Center of the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows in Belleville, IL. This conference is open to family members and friends, as well as mental health professionals, who journey with people struggling with mental illness. The title of this year’s conference is MENTAL HEALTH THROUGH THE AGES.

Our first presenter is Sarah Surrey from Karla Smith Behavioral Health (KSBH), who will discuss a flexible approach to adolescent mental health. Mindy Grossman from CHADS Coalition will present ways to help college age or young adults thrive. Tanya Koelker from Kaleidoscope Heart Counseling, LLC will share the challenges seniors face, including taking on the role of caregiver, and tips on how to cope. We hope you will join us.
